So i am currently in the middle of my timing belt install and i already have everything off and the new thermostat, waterpump, and one belt are in. i put the timing belt on twice with my markings lined up but once i put the tensioner on the always ends up off a tooth. I already pulled the pin on the tensioner and i cranked the engine a full way around and the markings are still one tooth off. Am i missing something?

Re: Timing Belt
So i got the pin back in the tensioner, should i offset the top gear one tooth so that it ends up lined up after i put on the tensioner? Cause if there all lined up after the belts on and in place i should be good right?Ryan
