pioneer headunit with bose question?

    pioneer headunit with bose question?

    guys did you buy your harnesses,etc locally or from like enfig??

    i bought a fancy unit yesterday and will install it oh before may or june lol

    but with the bose i know there are proper harnesses now so no mucking with the amp,etc it just plugs and plays

    also what about the pioneer bypass relay crap?

    Going in the S4 or Allroad?

    In my 01.5 S4 it was the the harness (Metra) and a manual relay (switch) in the glove box. If it's for the Allroad you have Canbus issues to deal with.

    I think you can get the Metra adapter locally. Plus a VW antenna adapter.

      S4 and allroad next month.

      S4 dash piece I'm going to weld together and sand and paint with soft touch for an oem look

      Where did you get the bypass instructions or did you buy one on eBay? I saw the. For 15 bucks

          I know that Graeme's Pioneer never really worked all that great in his allroad.

                  yea when we molested the entire car and took it apart that was fun

                  this new guy has no nav (i didn't want it) but my god is it ever light and small! and no stupid brain to fail like my old avic..
