B5 service reminder reset without VAG?

Is it possible to reset the service reminder without using a VAG on a B5 S4?

I have access to one, but I'm looking for a lazy way.

I think there's a shortcut in the Owner's Manual, at least there was for my B6.

yea through the cluster.. in the manual.. i forget how

its like hold right pin down and turn key to acc and then push down clock pin and hold for a second.. something like that i always forget and have to check the manual after oil changes

i did put a custom reminder via vagcom for mine tho

Thanks Rod. I think I tried that one already, but will give it another shot. My owner's manual is in a "safe place" that I can't quite recall at the moment.
