  • BMW M135i Concept

BMW will use the Geneva Motor Show next month to present the new Concept M135i. The design study is the latest addition from BMW's M Performance Automobile division and previews the production model that is due to be launched.

The Bavarian auto maker has confirmed it is powered by a straight six-cylinder engine featuring TwinPower Turbo technology and it generates at least 300 PS ( 220 kW / 296 hp) which is passed to the rear wheels. The displacement has not been confirmed at this point but it is easily believed to be 3.0-liters.

The Concept M135i boasts a three-door hatchback body-style and is treated to a set of 18-inch M light alloy wheels with a double spoke design. Hiding behind them is the large M sports braking system.

The exterior design requires the extra large air intakes to keep the powerful engine cool and they also add an element of aggression and character to the model. Designers have aimed for a more elongated and dynamic appearance in comparison to the regular production model with the body kit giving a low-riding aroma.

BMW will debut the BMW Concept M135i at a special preview evening on the day before the Geneva Motor Show starts.

Was gonna say, it's like an updated m coupe. I kinda like it though. I bet it handles just as well if not better than the clown shoe.

Looks like the old Mcoupe combined with an X1. Very odd.

Theres tons of these in europe (not the M version) in both 2 and 4 door configurations.

Pretty much BMW's version of an A3. They've really grown on me

                Re: BMW M135i Concept

I always find them a bit awkward (plenty in Australia too) but I would need to see this in person to get a true feel for the size/dimensions. That being said performance small hatches are always welcome in my books though!!
