So my car has been park for the last 5-6 months over the winter. Went to start it up today and it would turn over but would not start. Check engine light started flashing, looking for someone with a vag-com so I can scan the codes.

Re: Vag-Com
Scanned the car thanks to jta430, the following faults were identified:
00849 - S-contact at Ignition/Starter Switch (D)
31-10 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent
00562 - Sensor for Oil Level/Temperature (G266)
30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent
00562 - Sensor for Oil Level/Temperature (G266)
29-10 - Short to Ground - Intermittent
I did some digging on audizine.com and it looks like the 00849 fault could mean a range of different items including, coolant temp sensor, fuel pump relay, crankshaft or camshaft position sensor. During the summer I was getting the odd misfire fault, could this be a coil pack or ignition control module issue? Any suggestions on my next step to narrowing down the cause?2001.5 Audi S4
