Pulled my Walbro 450. Installed an AEM 340. The walbro was getting all finicky and I was losing fuel pressure. First start on the AEM was a nice 58 psi which it should be.

Looks great. The tuning is interesting. Not something I have ever done, but thought it would be cool to learn more about.

I have been chatting with a guy in Airdrie building a replica Ferrari race car and was curious how it all comes together when you have a generic ECU, engine from one car, trans from another, etc. Sounds a little like a pain in the ass, but maybe a fun challenge!

    Re: Kenny's UrS4

Well a new year and no new update lol. Going to address a few small things, mainly tuning really. I have transitioned to tuning the car my self now. This past summer I hired a tuner to take on the process and that was a mistake. A series of events took place and in the end I lost any level of comfort and ended up limping the car home until I could address the tuners concerns. I unfortunately was not able to find any real issues with the car mechanally. Due to this the tuner was not confortable to continue and I was not willing to let him. I'm still trying to get my money back but I suspect it's not going to happen.

I started tuning the car with the help of a local shop owner. We got the car running well and making good power in the span of 30 Mins. Lol still needs a few fine touches with WGDC, but I'll get that sorted this summer.

I'm going to be redoing my PCV and catch can setup this summer, on 5 hard back to back pulls I was having some PCV issues but that's a simple fix.

I'd like to get the intercooler piping done up as 1 solid piece to prevent boost leaks.

And the final part, is hopefully get the methonal injection turned on.

When I parked the car in Oct, I had the car pulling 22-23psi at 7200rpm and 11° timing. Felt like a fucken rocket on a shark with lasers.

Turbo and WG are now mounted. Downpipe is on and the Intake manifold is getting a nice coat of purple to match everything else.

And Vems is back installed. Round 2.
