any one have any experience with these? went to adjust the coils today in preparation for my wheels to get here and when i had the rear end in the air i found the rears are span all the way down and well the car isnt much lower than stock height in the rear... not sure what going on? can i get shorter springs for this setup?

    cheers,

IIRC, you move the perch up to bring the ride height down and vice-versa. But that was from adjusting the Ohlins SL, perhaps the SS are different.

colars are on the bottom of the strut not the top like the ohlines so turning them up doesnt make much sense... not sure whats holding them up

I have em, well at least the TS version, they just don't go that low.

            Re: Stasis SS Coils

i understand them not going that low but this is considerably less than a cup kit would get... the rear shock housing have stasis "caps" could these be the reason that they are being held up?

              Re: Stasis SS Coils

Perhaps, but the cap is integral to the design of the coilover, altering or removing it would result in a potentially unbalanced suspension component

                Re: Stasis SS Coils

well.. after some research these are not street sport but are older tracksport coils, and the caps are necessary but hold the hight at 25' ride height and no lower. time for a new set i suppose... these are getting old anyways haha.

                  Re: Stasis SS Coils

That makes sense, as I said earlier, mine are TS and ride at appox 25", adjusting the collar only seems to adjust the pre-load on the spring
