Shiftstyle.com shift boot review

Ok well this is my second boot I've ordered from them, I ordered one for my b5 s4 and I loved it. They really clean up the interior of the car in my opinion.

With this boot, since shiftstyle did not offer a boot for the UrS4 I mailed my stock boot in and they were to send me a new one for free. From Canada it cost me 7 bucks to ship to Poland. The boot arrived today and overall I'm happy cause it was free but they did not send it to the specs I asked. I asked for a black Alcantra boot with red stitching but I got black on black. Not a huge deal but it did take over 2 month from me shipping it to me receiving it. I sent many emails with no response. I also did not receive my oem boot back. I'm not sure if they keep it for some reason.

Hmmm... alcantara isn't so exotic a shop here couldn't do it locally. What did it cost, if you don't mind me asking (all in with shipping/exchange/blah blah)?

Normally they charge 35 bucks shipped. This one was free cause i shipped my oem boot for them to clone.

Where's a local shop that can do it? Do they also do custom shift knobs as well?

They probably unstitched your old boot to make the pattern for your new one.

im now having issues with the boot. its just not long enough. when i shift into first it pulls the bottom right of the boot out of the shifter base, when in fifth it pulls it from the bottom left, some times it pulls both bottom right and left pulling the base up and i have to clip it back in. ill never do shiftstyle again. ill use redline from now on. they make one foe a 96 a6 which looks the same.
