  • Surging after upgrading to stage 1

Hey, so I have the REVO stage 1 now. It surges around 4k rpm. A bit inconsistant at other rpms on occasion also

I'm thinking it maybe the turbo inlet hose but I don't want to get ahead of myself because I really have no experience with turbos since my 300zx

I don't mind the idea of upgrading some hoses. So that's why i'm leaning on that being a potential issue.

So some input would be appreciated.

    BTW It's in a A4 B6 1.8t awd

Also I don't want to throw good money after bad. So if I can put money into something else first that will smarten this thing up would be good

      Boost leak test first.

Build one for cheap at Cdn. Tire/Home Depot if you don't have one already.

^ yes. There are a lot of hoses/connections that it could be and you really dont want to be throwing parts at a problem without knowing what it is. However, a boost hose kit would be a good investment!
