Stock maf on a stage 3 tune is not right. You need to run the tuners spec Maf housing.

Stage 3F (330whp/360wtq) tune specifically designed to work with the F21 turbos, 550cc injectors and stock maf. Upgraded diverter valves recommended. E85 tuning option is not available for this product.

Check your icms and coil packs And log for misfired. Maybe you getting misfires at high rpm.

Then boost leak test. And inspect pcv as well. The spider is prone to small tears.

Boost leak is my guess.. small one that opens up at higher boost.

You should still have support from solo.

Re: s4 b5 loss of power

hey guys sorry I meant to reply sooner on the outcome of my car. So ever since I got my turbos installed I had boost issues. I get boost sometimes, not at all, and then other times it would cut out on me while boosting. so after searching for a while I found that the right side turbo wasn't holding any pressure. So I tightened up the clamp before the wastegate and tested the pressure and found no leaks! woo. I also noticed the heat shield on top of my turbo was preventing my wastegate actuator rod from moving. So I moved the heat shield and road tested the car and Finally she is holding boost!

But although its boosting a 100times better now, It still doesn't boost full all the time. I'm finally installing my boost gauge this weekend. But what else would you guys recommend me checking.

                    Thanks again,

                    Cheers.

                    - Nick

Re: s4 b5 loss of power

Damaged intercooler, waste gate lines torn or cracked, boost reference valve (n75? I think it is on these cars) boost leak, intake leak between maf and turbos, waste gates themselves and finally any codes or misfires that could potentially put the car in "limp" mode

Re: s4 b5 loss of power

Most likely your tune with a stock MAF housing and stock intercoolers. If you could log you most likely will see your timing being pulled past 4K because of heat and ify fueling. Not sure how you got a tune on there without some logging. For most part those base tunes suck.

What do you mean tightened the clamp before the wastegate? The rod?

Did you verify that the preload on both wastegate actuators are the same? I don't know the specs for the franks but I'm pretty sure they need quite a bit of preload.

Im not sure on the name of the hose, but the one that goes from the n75 valve to the wastegate. the clamp that held the hose onto the wastegate was loose. And when I pressured up the line it wouldn't hold any pressure. Once I tightened up the line It was able to hold pressure and I could physically watch the rod move. Sorry im still learning about turbos, so bare with me haha.
