    A sad day for my A4

    So looks like my a4 is done the transmission grenade-ed its self,with no warning what soever. The transmission could be rebuilt but who knows what else is damaged beyond repair inside it.
    I want to fix it but my head says its not worth xxxx thousands of dollars to fix a 13 year old 200k A4.

    Had it 7 years and its needed nothing but routine maintenance,so not to bad.

    i'll be making a for sale ad soon once i figure a few things out

                    That really sucks man. Maybe get in touch with Natty's brother and see if he has a cheap transmission available? You never know, you might get lucky. Although I do understand your view into dumping that kinda money into an old higher mileage car :(

                        That really sucks Jamie.....I'd hold off and see what Pat/Onceover can do....such a nice car, and worth a shot at rescue.

                            Thanks for the reply guys I will give natty a shout see about a used transmission.

                            Thanks for the offer of the 6 speed but if I fix it I'll be keeping it auto
