My 2008 new in 2008 was $110K!!! I had the bill of sale to prove it! Crazy money. Like Mike said above, this would be my dream car if it came with a manual transmission. Having said that, I cant afford that new so I would be the one buying it used after 5 years for 1/2 of that!

You have to remember that The B7's were very overpriced. That was near the end of when the dollar was almost at par with the US dollar. I bought one of the last B7 S4's and its MSRP was just over $80k! Luckily I paid nowhere near that as the B8's were on there way. The price of the B8 S4's subsequently dropped to like $65K. I think the price of the RS4 fell into that same scenario. I agree that the price wouldn't be $130K if they did come here, probably closer to the $100-110K of the last RS4 to keep it competitive.

I put my money where my mouth was with the B7 S4 but it would be tough in this economy to spend that kind of money on a new one even thought I want it bad. The new one's are for the guys that like to lease the "it" vehicles for a couple of years and that's when we swoop in at a discounted price.

yea there is a wicked RS3 at my local dealer here i was looking at the other day when i had the Q in for service.. 64k.. i didn't think that was terrible for what you get.
