I wont be able to get you the info until tuesday but i will post my insurance brokers contact info for you then.
If you go on the AMA website you can do an online quote there, it takes like 5 minutes and its all automated and should show you an approximate price at the end. That should give you an idea of what price you should be getting but then if you shop around from there you should be able to get about 15% less atleast.

I use AMA...Havent shopped around for like..6 years now, but AMA was ~1200/yr less for PL/PD on my first car (91 accord haha)

That said, ive never had to make a claim with AMA so im not sure how well they handle that. If you have an AMA membership you can call to get a quote too, which is more accurate and takes like 2 minutes

Holy F, initial guesstimations indicate I could pay about half what I'm paying now.... holy ****! I'm gonna have fun telling my current broker to go F#$@ themselves!

yup, went down to AMA, Super friendly people, Got an ama membership, got my license renewed (I had just been at the registries place which had a line up out the door), and a quote for auto insurance. Let me say, very impressed, very helpful staff. Details....

Full coverage on my audi with a 1000$ deductable for 6 mths is $1748.
Plus fire and theft for my sunfire (bare minimum) $155

Which equals; (after fees and endorsements and sh*t) $3448 yrly OR $287.38 per month

Versus my current $548 per month....

you should be able to get even cheaper than that, but hey its a good start and that's better than before!

Put that extra 300 bucks per month into a special fund and at the end of the year give me half for pointing it out.

I use RBC for insurance. Take a look at www.kanetix.ca for online quotes.

yeah my girlfriend tried getting a quote through the online AMA quote thing and it said the same thing to her... i think it's because she has only been driving for like a year or something.

Just call..only members can get a quote on the phone and its more accurate. Takes 2 minutes
