    Re: 328is?

Im sure it'd be a blast to drive...but I was under the impression you were lookin for something cheaper than the GTI?

While 10k USD may seem cheap, what do you figure you can get for your car? Not to mention maintenance on those is gonna be alot more than the gti

Dont forget about the GST and possible duty involved with bringing a car in from the US.

Well for the GTI, depending on the K's you'd be lucky to get 22 CDN

by the time you get it here id imagine it would be around 13-14k CDN

                Re: 328is?

Well not sure on shipping but I would think a a grand depending on location, service etc. Duty depends where the car was manufactured but I think 6% is a good rate to estimate with.

I believe Volinder got a car from the US and had a company bring it up so you may want to ask him.

                    328s are amazing
its pretty much the closest thing to an m3
                    but for 10g, u can get a 95 or a 96 m3
                    or so ive seen
                    in the US ofcourse

Yeah iv seen a few 2, but the tend to have higher kms and i use to work at bmw and i have heard alot of horror stories about how much it costs to fix the older m3s. the 328 im sure is still pricey to fix but nothin like the m3. And im sure insurance would be lower too

                          Re: 328is?

                          looks good
                          the good: m3 bumper(looks OEM)
                          wheels
euro lights with AI, look cheap tho
                          nice paint
                          engine looks clean
                          the bad(to me)
tan leather :(, black on black would have been great
the car looks like it could have been taken care of, orr was bagged to ****
                          imo
