    Carbon Fiber Roundels.
I traded my OEM Roundels for a set of Real Carbon Fiber Roundels.
The set included the Hood, Boot Lid, & Steering Wheel Roundels.

Trader-Nas E-Bay Headers Powder Coated Matte Black.

I stayed up late Friday night with my Brother-In-Law working @ his shop.
He had to finish some major jobs (contract work) before we worked on my Headers.
After that we had the whole shop to our selves.
We did a couple few of "odd jobs" here & there for a couple of hours.
IE. Trailer Hitch, Front Bumper Bush Guard, Step Bar, & My Headers.

I could not afford to get my Headers Ceramic Coated so I opted with Powder Coating.
Better done something to it than nothing.
I figured this should contain the heat more efficiently than leaving it bare Stainless Steel.
Plus, I do not have to worry for it to have any rusting problems.

Yall would not guess what arrived this afternoon.

Tischer BMW M-Technik II Aerodynamic Kit with E46 M3 Rocker Panels.

The best part of it all was the much needed Mouse Pad.
I also got a key chain which I gave away.
Also, I got a BMW hat which I gave away also.

I hope you don't plan to rock the ASPtuning decals on your car. The powder coating looks great.

            I placed the decals on the E36 & A4.
I haven't put it on mine.
If Steve had a black decal, then yeah.

              I got these on Friday.
IMO these are the best for your ladies.
As far as I know only two places in Calgary carry these products.
Only thing missing is your choice of Clear Coat & Sand Paper.

The whole process took about 3 hours to complete.

                Preparation...

                Primer...

                Base Coat...

                Clear Coat...

                Let Dry...

                Install...

My friend Lou's Car... Hand Built!
She beat Chip Foose's in a show a couple of years ago.
She's detuned to approximately 750 WHP.
I drover her a couple of times in the past.
She could definitely break your Cervical Spine in pieces with the amount of Torque she produces.

                Yet another little project...

                    Re: | BillyJoelR | Teasers 2009 |

I do as much as I can.
I am merely a Jedi in training.
I've done painting before with my Accord's Aerodynamic Kit but I am mostly comfortale with painting my Interior with my cheap paint guns.
PPG is doing a complete change-over to Water Based Paint so there goes my knowledge with Chemical Based Paint.
This would required new Paint Guns & new training.

My friend Lou (Jedi Master), took over most of it.
                    He's a painter & a self proclaimed Hot-Rod Builder.
He supplied me with the Professional Pain Guns in his garage.
The guy is a perfectionist so he made me do the Prep (some chemical cleaning & 600 grit sanding) & Prime.
                    He then did the rest.

                    No wet sanding needed.
                    The beauty of OEM Products.

                      Re: | BillyJoelR | Teasers 2009 |

I came across a hiccup that was a huge PITA.
The T-50 Bolt that holds the Aluminum Bumper Carrier to the Rear Bumper & to the car broke.
Took me some few hours to try & remove it from the socket but it would not budge.
I had to just completely take the whole assembly off & build a new piece.
Riveting with your bare hands definitely sucks.
I had my Fiance's Dad help me out.

Do not mind the Welding Skills... Just needed to secure the nut in place.
So I went to purchase a couple of Stainless Steel Bolt to replace the corroded ones.

                      The progress...

                      Almost done with the install...
I am currently working on the Tail Lights as a temporary mod until the Smoked LED Tails lower its price cost, working on the Fog lights to match the theme in the near future, & debadging.
Up next will involve Krylon Glass Stain Paint & maybe Powder Coating.

That's about it for this year.
Proper Point & Shoots will come soon.
                      Thanks for viewing.

Nice painting process, I see some orange peel before the clear coat was applied. But after clear coat was on, seemed like it was not that evident anymore.

My friend and I were painting his door black and we did multiple wet sanding prcoesses and there were still orange peel....

                            All we did was...
Cleaned the kit of several times with this PPG degreaser/cleaner.
                            Let dry...
Sanded a bit with 600 grit sand paper...
                            Cleaned once again...
                            Primer...
                            Base Coat...
                            Clear...
                            Voila.

On a side note, what is orange peel? The visual texture of the paint?
