        Re: New Rims on Jetta

I think these rims suit the older mk1/mk4/mk3 cars, i was looking at getting them on the GLI, but they just looked too small because the stepped lip made the centers look tiny, especially on a large car like a mk4.

But seeing them on your car, they look so dope, really suit the car/retro modern kinda deal.

the leather looks more like leather in the photos than in person :P

the orange pad is actually there to sit on top of protect the hardwood for daily use, we thought it looked cool

Heres some pics of the deck i installed a few weeks ago.

Yeah, I went single din touch screen, but im actually really happy with this deck, its the JVC KD-AVX77 and its actually really amazing! Built in bluetooth, even works for playing music. My phone never leaves my pocket. Full DVD with 5.1 surround sound, and composite in.
Since it had composite in, we kind of went all out on setting it up..

Installed a hidden power inverter, with an outlet right in the glove box. Hooked up my PS3 and it works perfectly. Someone will have a fairly nice ride down to Vegas!
