Yeah the police attention would definitely get annoying really quickly... That's why I decided not to get my personalized AB plate haha

Haha we will see what I do once it's mounted. I like the Velcro idea.. I don't like tickets or too much attention from the police lol

Colin runs his Europlate and his Alberta plate simultaneously and said he only got "warned" once but just told the cops he was coming back from a photoshoot and forgot to take the euro one off. Personally, I think that bumper needs a europlate. F*ck the police lol

One day I decided to give it a run with the Euro on and the AB in the window, I did not make it an entire day before I was pulled over and the police wondered why I had done such a thing, and yes because I was displaying a plate from the wrong jurisdiction it was a problem. I told them I had just been at a car show and forgot to switch back and since I could do it in a quick flash they let me off with a warning, but I never tried it again.
welll never mind haha i guess it is illegal. how bout somehow getting an alberta plate that looks like a euro plate lol? i saw a vw bus at dasvolks that had an orange plate that had all his alberta info, not sure if is real or not though.

i dont think it is illegal to have your AB plate in the back window, as long as it is clearly visible back there. i think it would be sweet to run full europlate on that super sexy bumper

I need pics before I can guess haha.

Yeah, I figure it's not worth it unless I'm already getting something painted. I put my europlate in my back window occasionally and it rattles a bit. I've had cops behind me when it's there and I've never gotten any attention. And yeah, you really do! I remember seeing you there but we never talked haha

Yeah, I was thinking about running a europlate and putting my AB plate in my window until I came across the velcro idea. The dealer drilled my bumper though, so I'd need to have the plastic sanded down, filled, and repainted. Maybe I'll do that if I ever buy the 35 Edition front bumper that I've been eying for the past little while haha
    Whats your guess??

Yeah that would be too much of a pain haha. I think it would be to noisy rattling agains the window anyways. I need to make it out to a meet or something sometime soon :/ haha I was at one in early spring, it was still cold, I still had my black R when it was on bags then. jeesh.

That was a lucky guess on my part haha. You should mount your license plate the say some of the MK6 guys on Vortex do... Velcro! Makes it easy to switch from AB to Euro plates for shows
Thats actually a really good idea... I was thinking about just running a europlate 100% of the time and have license plate in window? I'm not sure if that would be illegal or not? I like the velcro idea better though. Gets rid of interior noises
