It was drying up on the weekend so I got a wash on Saturday and since it was cold today, mine has a nice matte blue shade going on with the frost haha.

Cleanest car on the lot. Fact.

Everything was really wet late last week, so I never bothered washing either of the cars. I was out of town all weekend but things seemed to have dried up quite a bit... only the side roads are wet now.

My summers are 19s, so you can go based on those. The brakes look smaller for sure, but I don't think they look like toys either. The ride will definitely be a bit harsher with 19s, but it's not that bad. They never bothered me. I'm with Tyler though... With a nice static drop, 19s are the way to go.

Look-wise, I think 19's fit the mk6 perfectly. But I do agree with the minature brakes though. All depends on how much is seeing through.

I'm leaning towards getting 19s, but the new rims i want to get don't have the correct offset for 19's :(

Oh yeah, that's perfectly understandable... They aren't for everyone. There aren't many people on Vortex that run 19s... Mostly just 18s, so I'm in the minority.

With a clean drop, 19s definitely look good on Golf's but it's not for me and we will leave it at that.

The brakes will start to look like caster wheels in comparison to the wheels.

It's impossible to keep my car clean here. Just impossible. Hurts me to see her so dirty. Just the drive home from cleaning makes it dirty enough.

But, decided to take some pictures since it has been the only time this winter where she has been relatively clean.

Ya I've noticed. I'm always careful too, only unless I'm under the pressure of holding up traffic haha.
