I'd get the engine ready to drop in. Build it first. Make the s5* ready for boost as well. Buy a turbo. Put it on the original motor too until it blows. Swap swap then smiles for miles. Ahem kilometers.

No chance Todd. In a car like this, I would want nothing but that low end raw power that a NA engine gives. If anything, I would LOVE to have a Euro S50B32 or S38B38 engine in there. 300+ HP all motor sounds pretty good for a small car like that!

For now this is Tracy's car. But she still has her heart set on a MK5 .:R32, so the plan is to collect parts over the next year or 2, then once I'm done with my .:R32, I sell it, buy a MK5, take the E30, and swap an S52 and a 5spd into it. Its all in the sleeve of the wizard

1. Just leave the engine and tranny the way it is, keep it original. Get a cheaper crappier car to do a swap.
