Scott's Turbo Brick

Just picked up a 2000 Volvo V70 XC AWD as a winter beater. It has a 2.4L 5-cylinder turbo that isn't exactly fast, but oh well haha. 120k miles but the price was right, so I couldn't pass it up. The body is definitely showing its age a bit, but nothing that can't be fixed fairly easily. Interior is pretty much the same... needs a little bit of work but nothing major. It's solid mechanically, so I'm pretty happy with it! Here a few of the seller's pictures, but I'll get my own sooner or later.

AWD + snow + crappy all-season tires + very basic (almost non-existent) traction control = fun in the snow! It slides sooo easily... a bit too easily for my liking. On the hunt for some winter tires on Kijiji!
