  • Some Updated Guards Red Shots

I got my car back yesterday from the body shop.

The front fenders, bumper, hood, cowl, mirrors were resprayed. Windshield replaced. I also had them remove the headlight washers and paint up some brake ducts for me. I also put the original deck lid back on.

I really like how clean the front end looks now

Looks delicious Graeme! Must admit I like the stock decklid more than the ducktail. I'm pretty boring though!

I see you already have new wheels for the avant! Looks nice!!!

I'm liking the looks of the stock decklid as well. Looks like the ducktail is sold to a guy in Indiana anyways.

I borrowed the wheels from my friend while I get the new winters on some rims. The studded winter wheels the car came with don't suite Vancouver weather :P

Looks nice. I have the same wheels, be careful when you clean them. Don't use any brushes, the finish is soft and will scratch, not deep scratches but surface scratches on the paint. I did use a professional wheel cleaning brush once, but from that point on I stick to a microfibre towel to avoid this.

Both cars look great Graeme. Maybe I missed it, but why was the car in the body shop? Did you just want it resprayed as a nice touch up or did something happen to the front end?

I had a truck covered in mud and rocks with a quad in his bed pull out in front of me leaving Merritt last summer. Showered me with rocks and crap. Left the front covered in little white marks and a cracked windshield.
