Looks to be a custom straightpipe, no branding whatsoever. I also have Raceland headers, no cat, no res. Just one muffler at the end.

No way man! I'd supercharge it!

Well, today the tear down begun! This is where she'll sit all winter.

and as soon as she got settled in we tore her face off!

Fyi, you're losing power with that cone filter, if you use the stock one and cut out some of the bottom area (lots of guides online) you'll see more power. Or at least get a heat shield for that bad boy

I told him that until I heard his intake while driving it...

Hmm.. guess i should update this...

So a week and a half later from the last post, the engine was out.

The week after that i started ordering some parts (Thanks Natty!), de-wriring, de-accesorising and cleaning up the engine. F*cked up the timing cause i forgot to check it before i took the head off... so ill have to retime the motor from scratch when i put it back together... but anywho.

Kept on getting comments about how weird everything was.. lol. Inline-V 6 for the win!?
                        took more stuff off...

and.. parts arrived! Yay! (Thanks Natty!, again!)

Annnddd... that takes us to today.
Had a bit of a photoshoot after school.

Looks good. What was the reason you tore it apart?

Timing chain needed to be done, so i decided to go the extra mile so i dont have to worry about it for the next little while.

Moar updates!! (If anyone still cares lol)

Was held up all of last week cause i ordered the wrong headgasket... But i now have the proper mk4 headgasket! Got that thing installed, yay for more compression and more horsepower!

Also, realized that i dont have that weird VW tool that locks the cams in place.... oh well, welded one up quickly

Aaaaand finally got the head back on. Rebuild is going swimmingly.

So, looks like cams will be a no go, ive pretty much run out of money at this point (maintenance > horsepower right?... right?!). Gonna pick up a tune though, gotta take advantage of my exhaust, raised compression and delete the SAI and post cat 02 sensor. Interior refresh coming soon!
