(CHRA) Center Housing Rotating Assemblies: aka turbo internals minus housing.

Will you do the rebuild yourself?

        Yeah, I'll do it myself.
They come balanced, so there isn't much to it.

Cleaned one, gutted another and made a chair (working electrics):

The new CHRAs arrived today, but alas the super speedy mechanic father of mine has returned to the motherland already.

I'll plug away at the swap in my own time

I just want power, but my credit card bill says otherwise.

At least this way I can take my time and clean up the turbo housing and get everything pretty before it all goes into the black car.
Going to paint the valve covers and y-pipe as well, while trying to keep things looking classy.

                        She popped her cherry!

Low car + Night + Some prick's hitch lying on the road = Tow Home
My nice shiny APR exhaust got mangled, but amazingly the sump wasn't hit.
I have a receipt somewhere for the exhaust (from PO) which I believe was $2,000+ so maybeeee I can try my insurance for a claim or something.

Exhaust got touched up as well (it was fooked)

Holy that exhaust, no wonder it was towed, did you fix that exhaust yourself?

Yeah, the thing was mangled. One of the mid-pipes was bent out like a side exit exhaust.
I have a hole in my floor also, where the hitch punched upwards :(

I bought the Y and had a local place weld it up. Thankfully my measurements worked and it all lined up relatively close.
