Yeah, I often debate putting some 25th side skirts on there, but I'd never fit my jack underneath and would have even more clearance issues. The FK kit continued to settle, as you can see from the gap, or lack of one between the first pics taken earlier this summer and the last few. I've went from 1.5 fingers in the front and 2 in the back to about .5 and 1. I may have to look at swapping to some Bilstein shocks, as I've heard they make the car sit a little bit higher, even with the same springs.

Nope, everything looks fine, at least where the struts fit into the front suspension. This kit is the only one on the market that can get a GTI VR6 level without going with coils. Everything else leaves the car raked due to the heavier engine in the front, and less weight in the rear not having a trunk. I have had zero problems with my FK kit, and the only negative thing I can say about it is that the shocks are probably more harsh on sqare edged bumps than perhaps another damper. I assume a good part of this harsh feel is from the 18s, and am giving other dampers the benefit of the doubt that they could do a better job than the FKs. I'm not sure why everyone seems to rag on FK stuff, just because it's less expensive than other options out there. I know Bart had some problems with his, but I think most will agree he drives his car a lot harder than most of us, including auto cross.

When I went looking for new suspension for my car, cost was not a factor. I wanted something with a specific amount of drop, that would leave my car sitting level. I nearly went for coil-overs but everyone who already had coils, and was kind enough to take me for a test drive, were way too stiff for the type of ride I wanted.
