Pick your battles ..... spend $ developing a deck or into better performance ........ the car is a monster .... and i am glad to see new products comming out . not just concepts to try to drum up interest in selling lotus..

The Exige was due for a refresh, and IMO, they've done very well.

I'm not asking for the interior to be incredible just... decent would be nice. It's not even on par with an entry level car like a Golf.

The money they are pouring into performance is just off the shelf engines with a stripped down car so that it's light weight... they're not building their own engine and all the associated engineering....?

while it is a toyota powerplant its is obviously not a stock engine and toyota mapping........so they purchase a block from toyota . install thier own parts and install it .......so does gumpart, spyker, zonda, aireal, ktm, and i am sure many other low production sports cars ,
But the car is great looks great and performs like a lotus

Koenensig outsources motors too.

Lotus was in grave danger of pushing daisies for years.

Now revived, and sporting a contending F1 team (yay Iceman!), I wouldn't be surprised if they started producing their own mills once more.

And if an upscale vs Spartan interior is a must have, the Evora is an excellent option.
