Mercedes Convertible Top

A colleague at work had a friend whose convertible top was slashed as part of a vandalism spree to hit their condo. Is there an alternative in Alberta to going to a Mercedes dealer to replace the top? Given our climate, I don't think so but I thought I would check anyways. The top on a Jaguar was also slashed and the bill came out to $18,000!

Better alternative.....sell the condo with no underground secure parking and buy one with :P
On a serious note, shouldnt have any issue finding a somewhere non mercedes.
