  • Saab Museum Saved!

Finally, there has been some good news for Saab fans. According to a recent report appearing in British magazine Autocar, the Saab museum has been saved from destruction.

Administrators for the bankrupt company had been looking to break up the collection to maximise the selling price, but it is now reported that the city of Trollhatten has agreed to purchase the whole lot.

Some may argue that it is a priceless collection, it even includes the first ever Saab car - the Ur-Saab (pictured below), but the collection has been picked up for a reported price of £2.6 million (€3.1 million / $4 million).

When I saw the sale list of all the cars, I was really hoping somebody would do this. On the other hand, it would be pretty cool to have some of those cars
