Spotted some of the ED peeps at the beyond meet tonight. Also spotted a crazy clean mkii on RS's parked in front of Pro Bodies in marda loop.

First gen Smarts had to be flat bedded as they had no front steering lock and running the rear wheels in neutral was supposedly bad for the transmission, I only had to deal with this once luckily. I imagine this has improved with the newer version.

Wow didn't know that. The rear was on rollers too so this may have been the case

yep in the gateway. b5.5 passat on tiffany blue klutch sl14's. I walk everywhere around here so the car stays in my underground most of the time, might catch it at safeway on my way home from work

Pretty sure the brown mk1 has a build thread on the forum.
