    Probably doesn't matter much.

So your amp is 4 x 30watts and the speakers are rated for 60watts max? I personally would go for the Polk's, they seem to be making a better set of speakers then they use too.

Ok, so, down to a couple choices.....

Infinity Kappa 6020CS components (and matching coax's for the rear doors)

Polk Audio db6500 components (again, matching coax's for rear doors)

opinions? The Polk db's have a ton of good reviews on Crutchfield, the Inifinities don't have that many reviews, but the ones there are positive... Remember these will be amped off the MQ430, so a 2ohm set will be roughly 60watts RMS, so these exceed my amp specs.....

Also on the amp front, still looking for a good single or 2 channel amp for the sub....The sub is rated for 275watts RMS, and is DVC, so I may just run them serial like I did previously and bridge an amp if its 2 channel (the sub is 4 ohm, so the amp should be able to be stable to 1 ohm or whatever that works out to?). I am only using 1 sub......

Ahh yes that is the amp I was thinking of, the one you have is a bit newer but it looks like it has very solid contacts and higher end RCA jacks to boot. Focal are a great speaker but it all depends on how much you plan to spend to support such an investment. If you plan for a modest setup there are many manufactures that are a lot cheaper and may almost sound as good. Another hint for you as funny as it sounds Princess Auto has some Monster cable clearance stuff that is pretty good for the $$. MC maybe waaaaay over priced but at the clearance level it is reasonable and it will have decent quality. Last time I was there they have some nice 2 channel RCA cables and some 8ga amp install kits.

Last time I was there they had some pretty great stuff, and sometimes you can get a deal on demo equipment or previous year's stock if you ask and are there at the right time. Just ask. If Jason is still there he is a good guy.

They carry among other things Focal speakers which are a level above most car audio. Focal makes some of the world's finest loudspeakers period, even among audiophiles.

I would only use coax's in the rear doors, because there is no point in putting components there! Components in the front though

Brent I think you were thinking of the M series...I used to have an M25 too! If you can believe it I used to run 2 12" subs off of this little guy!! This is just some pic I scammed from eBay, but mine was identicle...Almost had an M44 to go with it, but passed because they wanted too much $$$!

As for door speakers I can't say I have seen too many 6.75" but you can always use 6.5" with spacers which you will probable need anyways. Now for brand of speakers you could go with almost anything, fine a budget and work from there. If you are going to go with JL though it might be a good idea to use all JL speakers as they do make some nice speakers. Is that MQ-430 the old Gold and white amp? If it is the one I am thinking of those are a pretty sweet amp for their age.
Yah, will probably go with 6.5's, components....I've been reading good things about the Infinity 6020CS's....I can't find many JL speakers locally, maybe I'm not looking too hard....And the Phoenix is this one, yes it is sweet..:
