Exactly......but people get hung up on hp/L....who cares? the numbers that matter are peak power, where it makes its power and area under curve (so its not just a dyno queen).

Anyways, its a fast car for the money...but I don't like its looks (I prefer the R34) but its not gonna steal the market from the 911 turbo....the kind of crowd that wants a porsche will buy a porsche, not a nissan. I don't think the porsche crowd are necessarily all about performance over cachet....

You can't sit here and compare cars that different in price..... The only thing in the price ballpark is the Vette.
Well the GT-R has some more competition as of today.

    New ZR1 Vette

    Quite Impressive

If I ever end up with that kind of cash id (sadly of course) go for that over a porsche. (No shot Kris)
I'd take a more expensive Porsche for sure, but for 70 grand I think I'd also buy the GT-R. Unfortunately, in the first year at least, I bet nobody pays less than 85K for this.

The 997 Turbo or GT2 are still better cars overall I think, but also way more money.

I wonder if they will 'allow' North Americans to use their DSG as designed too

6 speed dual clutch gearbox with electronic launch control. The launches must be good because it does the 1/4 in the same time as a McLaren F1 except that it has a slower top speed a the end.
