Maybe my statement about hating "honda" was a bit much because I do admire the S2K and the NSX but I do not like the civic or pretty much any other honda. (CRX is alright) I guess that just makes me a ignorant hillbilly, but I guess that means that everyone out there who hates Hyundai, Kia, Geo, Skoda, Ford, Chevy, etc. etc. etc. just ignorant hillbillies to then eh? But what do we know, after all this not a real enthusiast website anyways right.

You can obviously make Hondas really fast for REALLY cheap... but still not really a fan, I was almost considering selling my VW's and buying an EF or EK hatch and making a 10second daily driver :P hahah

yea the s2000 had the record for most HP per displacement.. i think audi or bmw has the record now.. i think the rs4 maybe but am probably wrong

The e30 m3evo sport had about the same power per displacement I believe, and that was in 1990! And it actually had some torque. 245hp out of a 2.5. What is an s2000? 220 out of a 2.2?

The first ones had a 2.0L putting out 240hp. The engine then grew to 2.2 to get more torque. If it's hp/L on an NA engine your looking at for production cars I think that the 997 GT3 has to be about the highest at 415hp from a 3.6L flat 6. Yes please!

Holy ****, I had no idea the gt3 had that much power. I was always under the impression that it had a handful less power than the turbo. Thats fucking gnarly! Btw all those cars above my post...very hot. Real jdm styling and euro styling are right on the same level.

Honda - 240hp from 2L = 120 hp/l
Porsche - 415hp from 3.6 = 115.28 hp/l

S2000 still the winner in the hp/l race as per your above numbers!!
