At least the Oilers beat the flames 5-1 which in the end gave them a slim chance of getting #1 in the NW. Which in case you haven't noticed Vancouver clinched that today.

speaking of stats, how about 5? as in the number have cups the oilers organization has. oh and 1, the number of cups the flames have. irregardless of how brutal the oilers have been for a while, to me stanley cups matter more than what round the flames will get eliminated this year.

However the calgary Iginlas are going to be eliminated in the first round again, and I will laugh. Its a shame because the one man that runs the team deserves a cup ring, but it wont be with Calgary.

Calgary sucks because its full of uppity arrogant pricks, Edmonton sucks because its full of uneducated rednecks. So arguing about which city is better is like peeing on a forest fire. yea edmonton roads are horrible!!!! holy god last weekend i was driving all over the place dodging them

calgary is a good city but i love and hate it here.. the govt really gouges you here but then again i'm sure they do the same up there (green light cameras, transit,etc)

as soon as i'm done school i'm moving to calgs, though. i do not like edmonton as a city (plus the potholes are unbelievable this year, so it's hard to even enjoy driving), but i do like the oil, with or without gretzky.

and don't get me wrong, the flames are a great team and i was definately stoked when they went on their run in '04, i just can't cheer for any other team!
