I didnt understand this, so I asked some friends. Thanks to my genetics, I cant see anything other than a grayscale looking photo. TYVM colourblindness

This is extremely interesting. The fact that if you keep looking at the dot even after it changes to shades of grey you see the color of the walls for a long period of time for as long as you keep looking at this little dot. Really cool, but does it have any specific meaning behind this to like test for something? or is it just cool science?

for whatever reason, your eyes retain the inverse colour of an object. Like if you stare at a green canada flag, and then look at a white wall, you'll see an image of a red one. So no, there is no meaning. It's just cool. I have no scientific explanation.

if your eye sees an image for long enough, the colours will "burn" into the rods of your eyes. notice that if you refocus on something else, but then refocus on the dot, you'll see the black and white image until you look back at the dot.
