Rodney Mullen killed freestyle. Seriously. When there was no more freestyle, he moved to street and basically schooled everyone. Almost every trick in that video, he didn't just do, he invented it.

Rodney Mullen killed freestyle. Seriously. When there was no more freestyle, he moved to street and basically schooled everyone. Almost every trick in that video, he didn't just do, he invented it.

The reason he killed freestyle, was eventually no one else even bothered entering. It's amazing to think that Stacey Peralta was even able to pick the guys in the Bones Brigade, and get them on one team, Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen innovated so many tricks and the other guys had a huge impact on skating as we know it today.
