Screw it all, i run XP on both my computers, my dad has vista, and if i had the money id have a mac.

I hate everything windows.

Especially when the timer pops up for the restart and you lose a whole bunch of school work.

That's your network ADMIN's fault, not Windows.

You can put MacOS on a dell and you can put Windows 7 on a Mac. The lines are blurring!!111

Windows 7 is supposed to run less resources than XP which is good. Vista works, it's just bloated and fat and consumes resources like a giant hog.

I have also never had a problem with Vista. Everyone I know that has had a problem with Vista were people that upgraded to it and well their computers didn't really have the jam for Vista. Everyone I know that bought a Vista computer, is doing just fine. Some are upgrading to 7.

Currently a huge fan of the PC/XboX 360 compatibility. So I can stream movies from my laptop through my 360 onto my TV all wireless which is sick!

why all the hate? i have been running vista on my desktop forever now and i have had no problems, in fact i like it allot better then 7 i think 7 is garbage cant use it at all, and i have a mac laptop which is great as well so im not being bias here, but mac and window's are built for 2 different application. i would never buy a mac desktop, for me its not practical as a main machine. plus gaming PC > mac

Vista is a headache. I get so many complaints at the work from customers who can't log onto the wireless internet. All who cant connect consistently have Vista on their laptops.
I used to like IE, now it just crashes all the time....

I run OSX, Win 7 and Ubuntu....each has its good and bad points.

ubuntu is remarkably good for a free deal. not great for production environment. Might try 7 at work, but have to confirm it runs flawlessly with autocad before I attempt.
