Re: Home Theater Build
Andrew, even my futureshop manager buddy tells me to buy mounts on eBay. I bought all 5 of my mounts on eBay. FS's cost on my 60" mount was $280 and I paid $50 shipped for the same model # as FS's (granted mine are not articulating)
something like this is what I would get in your case.............

Yeah i have to figure out my spacing on the rack first but there will be some fans added in.Originally posted by RONDAL View Posti suggest putting some of these into your theatre rack, and possibly an AC triggered larger fan to move air out of that small space or your stuff is going to get HOT

Re: Home Theater Build
Trust me it fit because the room was fully finished before i tore out the frame for the door again and guess what the couch still didn't fit into the room.Originally posted by dJ View PostYou might want to put an extra 2x4 beside the switch box beside the entrance to the door. Depending on what your trim will be at the doorway, the cover for the switch might have a hard time fitting. I usually put 2x4's on all my switches beside doors just to give that extra little bit of space, just in case.

Re: Home Theater Build
I still have to finish up all the wiring on my home theater but I did but most of my cables from monoprice, you can't beat the quality for the price there. I even have a new projector mount on order from them right now and of course the bulb on my optoma had to explode last night :( There goes $300. If you get getting a new receiver get as many hdmi inputs as you can as it seems everything is going that way and well it does make cabling a lot easier.
