    Hey guys,

    How much duty would I have to pay on something from the US that's about $110US + $20US shipping. Any ideas?

    depends on what it is and where it was made.

        Yeah the product is made in the states! What category would priority mail fall under? Because right now it's saying $190 total O_O

              USPS PMI doesn't have any brokerage fees which is a good thign

                  sometimes overnighting is cheaper..........

                  There is no brokerage charges on an overnight package from the states.

                  For example:

                  Our dvd headrest systems ship from Florida. To ship to us:

                  Ground $90 + $55 Brokerage = $145
                  Overnight $125

                    They (Canada Post) usually charge a $5 fee.

                    If made in the US, there should be no duty. There will be 5% GST on the item cost. You pay these fees to Canada Post when you pick the item up.

                    110 * 1.05 = $115.50 USD + $20 = $135.50 USD * 1.085 exchange = $147 CAD + $5 fee = $152.
