I understand the swapping but that still means every box has the potential to be one, where Compton seems to be saying that is particular one is never a speed on green?

Really I thought all red light cameras were speed on green?

I wonder what the angle of the radar beam is? Standard traffic radar is 11 degrees so the beam doesn't travel too far before it is covering all the lanes.

i usually spot them no problem. i was in an area i hadn't been in a while, 3 lane stretch of road going the flow of traffic.

im not going to make excuses...i'll just pay them.

How about..you had to avoid hitting an animal (lets say a coyote. If you say a dog or cat..its less believable because they have probably heard that one already). He was running towards you, and if you slammed on the brakes, you wouldn't have avoided him due to the distance involved. So the only logical thing left to do was accelerate. Thats just off the top of my head. Probably won't work, but its worth a shot. At the least you can bring down the fines total amount by bargaining. But then again..its time off work.
What are you gonna say when they ask, "Sir, where is the coyote in this picture?" lol.

There is hardly any way to get out of these tickets, its really nearly impossible.

I dont know how all of you get pinched so bad. Do you not see "red light" cameras when you are driving? Ill speak for myself and usually pay attention to all of these, thus slowing down when i get near the intersection of one just to be safe.

should be able to negotiate a plea bargain....
But I wouldn't use the excuse "I wouldn't have been speeding if I'd known there was a speed trap there" that will be intent. Ignorance isn't tolerated either, but could try "you were going with traffic flow".

How did you miss that? It's sooo obivous lol.

Also, each lane is specific. it will tell you "lane 1/2/3", I think farthest from camera is 1 and 3 is closest.

It's posted that there is a camera there.

You were speeding, simple as that. No sympathy from me.

Basically I assume any red light camera is a speed on green camera as well, I've been good thus far. Knock on wood.

The traps are lane specific, each lane will log different speeds, good luck fighting them. Technology sucks huh?
