I can't do boxer, more of a presidents choice dry man myself.

Any of the Johnny Walkers are delicious. Between three of us, we each have a Texas mickey of red/black/blue, they are cool they have their own pouring swing thing. Won them at a golf tourney. But having started my Scotch drinking career on Walker, it is tough to go much else.

As a result of a genetic predisposition, I like whiskey...I like it a lot...Gibson's was always my favourite when I was younger, usually mixed with Ginger Ale. As I matured (yes, like fine wine I am...) I found I favoured a simple shot neat or over the rocks. Between Scotch (expensive), Canadian (good mixed), US (Bourbon = yuck) and Irish, I like Irish the best (note genetic predisposition).
Bushmill's Black Bush is my favourite, it runs about $36-$40 for a 26. Bushmills standard is also very good and well priced ($28-$32). Jameson's is good ($26-$30) and also happens to be blessed by the Pope in case that is important to you.
I'm currently developing a bit of a taste for Scotch and have found Oban to be quite good, however I am happy with my Black Bush at less than half the price.
If you are drinking over ice, ALWAYS rinse the ice. This rids the ice of any freezer odors and gives it just enough wet to take the edge off the whiskey. If you prefer water, use one finger of water for every two fingers of whiskey.

    Stay thirsty my friends...

The guy @ co op tried to sell me on Forty Creek last time I was there picking up CC.

I'll be getting a bottle once current CC is empty.

CC+diet pepsi for me. I find the sweetness of Coke/pepsi overpowers the rye, so diet it is.
