I may just buy everything from that dipyourcar site (well depending on cost) and spray it in the driveway/garage like the dude did hahaha

but keep the black chrome window trim and keep the rubber trim around the windows and the b pillar black..

As for using it as a deadener, I think Plasti-dip would be WAY too thin to actually do anything to reduce noise or vibrations unless you put on like 50 layers!

Yup, and even with 1/4" of plastidip it still doesn't have the sound or vibration absorbing properties even close to those of a butyl/rubber

What color are you thinking of doing?
We sprayed both our cars in the garage and it was fine. Doesn't really smell either which is nice. Save yourself the hassel too and buy local.

Let me know when you decide to do this. Wouldn't mind swinging by and checking it out. Can always lend a hand too. Since we have done 2 cars and both sets of wheels, I can always give you some tips and tricks from our experience.

hmmm, I'm leaning to either a military green, powder blue or maybe white like Pat's...We'll see I agree Tracy, that blue is really nice.

I used this to spray both the cars and the wheels. Its the same gun Dipyourcar used long ago when they first started out.

They upgraded to a better Wagner gun in April, and just recently upgraded again to an Earlex 3500. Apparently this gun sprays like a dream compared to the wagners, but I havent really found it around town for cheap just yet.

Damn everyone's going to have dipped cars!! I want matte white hmmmm can't wait to see all the cars dipped though if you guys go with it!!!
