Does anyone have a rivnuts tool I can borrow to install my skid plate? To buy one from Blackfoot is $75.

I have a 1/4- 20 with rivnuts you could use if intrestedBeen driving VAG for longer then allot of the members have been alive

How? I thought a bolt, nut and washer would do the trick as per the ECS website. I went and looked at a bolt washer and nut from CanTire but when you hold the nut and turn the bolt the rivnut just spins too. What am I missing? You can make one by threading in a bolt to the rivnut, and having a nut 1 size bigger than the bolt in between the bolt head and rivnut.
Hold the nut with a wrench and turn the bolt.Comment
