wow didn't think this thread would still be alive. haven't bought much. most recent purchase are some Vans Ultracush (like these but different colour) which are wicked shoes.


also picked up a pair of Vans OTW's at the outlet. Oh and a nice pair of teva sandals for the summer in the (hopefully) boat.

I am spontaneous when it comes to shoes and lately the selection in Calgary at the spots I used to go to is not good. Used to be able to get awesome shoes at Kix and even browns. Now Kix sells 30 models of toms (ugh).

Honestly my favourite footwear in the last couple years have been these Cushe boots (I have all black) with vibram soles. they are so comfortable and have awesome tread for winter. I've worn them every day for the last 2 winters and are still holding up perfectly.

This weekend the Jordan 11 Low 'Black Cat' or 'Referee' seems to be getting a wide release if you are liking these ones.

I missed this post. I love those shoes, what site should i look at to buy special release shoes?

Awsome thanks. Going to still and try to get those black cats. 250usd though plus shipping not sure i want them that much. I will be keeping a eye on those sites now.

You have to grab stuff like this on release otherwise the price tends to rise quickly as they usually sell out in minutes and then you are forced to pay second prices.

I will try to keep an eye for more Jordan 11 releases for you. I am usually up on everything releasing but not always buying.

Well I did not see too much for interesting shoes while in Calgary, seems most shops want you all to still wear Toms but I did like Less17 and Understudy for the small selection they had.

I have gotten a couple of new pairs recently, first a pair of Nike Roshe Flyknit NMs that I got pretty discounted so they are my current dailies and are allowed to see the rain.



And a second pair of Filling Pieces Low Top's, this time in Navy woven suede with the original sole, the leather is amazing on these.



Trying for some Yeezy 750s in 5 minutes but I am doubtful I will be successful and probably would sell them anyway as just too valuable to not move them on.

I jumped on the NMD bandwagon today as the latest releases finally came out here, grabbed a pair of the XR1 in triple black and the dark grey reflective R1s.

How many shoes do you have?? Haha I went through my closet I have 4 pairs of shoes, while the wife had 30+.

I love shoes but I wear them till I toss them and it takes me a solid 6months to find new ones. Still waiting on the Jordan 10's got some other jordans to keep me going till I get then.

I am not sure how many pairs of shoes I have, maybe 15ish at the moment, a few I have never ever worn and might end up selling some as they tend to appreciate as well (some a fair bit ). I do only wear sneakers (no dress shoes these days) and I walk a lot so some pairs actually get worn out, my main walking shoes currently have near 400 miles on them so they should be replaced soon, as the sole is also getting very worn.
