Re: What would you buy if....
I'm not sure that the odometers are all rolled back on them, but you're right about them being beat up. If you're the one to bring it over from Japan then you can get a nice one if you look, but they're hard to find. Right-hand drive cars are impractical as hell here tooOriginally posted by onceover View PostYou realize parts are next to impossible to get for them? And I bet very few people would work on them without charging you an arm and a leg. That and Japanese imports are beat to all hell and the odometers are all rolled backScott

Are you just assuming this, or do you have something to back it up?Originally posted by CGY_GTI View PostI'm not sure that the odometers are all rolled back on them, but you're right about them being beat up. Re: What would you buy if....
I don't think parts are that hard to get with yahoo auctions and google translate. I didn't think about the odometer which you stated, but Japan is no larger than Alberta, so low mileage cars are usually trustworthy. Not sure about beat to hell thing.Originally posted by onceover View PostYou realize parts are next to impossible to get for them? Another article: http://jdmvip.com/JDMVip_Mythbusters...rs-54-articles
Just because you can find a part on an auction, doesn't mean its easy to get. Imagine having your daily driver break down, and you need to find a part using google translate and then wait 3 weeks for it to ship to you (If they will even ship to Canada)

Re: What would you buy if....
Those are some pretty interesting facts. Japan's honest lolol. I just thought that most people wouldn't use a R32 as a daily.Originally posted by onceover View PostAnother article: http://jdmvip.com/JDMVip_Mythbusters...rs-54-articles

Questionable color scheme = more room for the price to move. Tan top on red? Really?

Re: What would you buy if....
I remember reading a while ago that it happens, but the article also said that the frequency of it has been exaggerated. This is probably like 4 years ago now though, so it's probably not the best thing to go based on.Originally posted by onceover View PostAre you just assuming this, or do you have something to back it up?

Either way, a RHD car makes no sense here.Scott

Serious, this http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ469050048.
Total sleeper with a few mods and a tune. And it's a wagon!
EDIT: Just noticed it's a RHD.... Same idea with the car above except a LHD sedan with 2.8T http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ468113474Last edited by kujiwara; 04-07-2013, 10:58 PM.Current Fleet
