what i dont understand is the purpose of this.
if you NEED that information, get a proper permanent display. seems like a cool gimic people will use for 2 weeks then realize they dont really need a lot of that information and it never gets used again.

      Good question.

I can tune wirelessly with an Android tablet, and use the Vems app for virtual gauges on the phone.

In a situation like my car there isn't a ton of useful space for gauges (not a vent or pillar pod fan) so this will be a boon when tuning. Of course, when I have a tune that's dialed in I won't need to monitor every paramater but that's a good thing too; gauges not being used won't be displayed.

Vems offers a digital display but I don't like the look of it, and it takes away from the OEM+ appearance I'm striving for... with this set up I won't lose functionality and get the interior design I want.

Would be nice, but if I were OBD-II I'd use a PLX touch screen gauge in the centre vent and be done with it.

This is basically what I'm working with (and sorta where I'm heading )

the one place i found worked quite well was double sided velcro below the vent on the left side of steering wheel below the vent. it's within line of sight when driving but doesn't clutter the dash area. have my AFR and EGT's there on a Zeitronix unit
