Re: GoPro Pan Tilt Jib!
Manfrotto Super clamp is probably what is used. They're the best in my opinion. They have a male 3/8" stud to attach to a tripod head.

Not my picture unfortunately.
Talk to Andrew (RONDAL), he's built one in the past.

Re: GoPro Pan Tilt Jib!
Thats pretty much all you need actually. Just a mount for the camera at the end of the pipe.Originally posted by intocco View PostActually I have two Fat Gecko mounts that I was going to attach a section of Aluminum pipe to for rollers. Was wondering what the best setup would be. Any Ideas?

That looks wicked! Would love some rollers of my car!
I was just thinking roll down the window in the back (of a four door car) and have someone operate it from the back... could work?

Re: GoPro Pan Tilt Jib!
It worked out to be very stable and smooth. It only needs 7.5 lbs of weight to balance the rig. I need to get a small remote monitor for the DSLR and HDvideo cams. The go-pro app works great as a monitor I just wish it was real time and not so delayed on the iPhone. Anybody use the go-pro app on Android? Is it any better?

GoPro Pan Tilt Jib!
Just put the final tweaks on Jib/Crane I started a few weeks ago. It started out as just a GoPro Crane but it evolved into a Pan/Tilt Jib that will hold a 2lb camera (maybe more but that is the heaviest camera I have). It is super light weighing only about 12lbs and breaks down into three sections for portability. Here is a iPhone video of how it works.
Anybody around this weekend? I am dying to get out and and do some drive by videos. Maybe the coffee meet on Sunday?Tags: None
