  • OBD scanner..what to get

Looking at all the different scanners, not just a reader. Wondering what everyone uses and for what reason you choose it?
Looking for something that is good, reliable and tough able to work on different brand
    Thanks

make sure it works with vag. the one I have for work is made by MAC tools and doesn't work with my mk4 or any VAG car

Is bluetooth no longer the hotness? For a while it seemed like the industry was going towards a cheap dongle and an app.

I still use my cheap ass bluedriver and no name Chinese scanner with Torque pro. But it doesn't have anything brand specific.

Heck, on my bimmer it won't even tell me I'm misfiring (somehow this doesn't trip a CEL). I didn't know my plugs were bad until I fired up INPA after JB dropped me into map 5.
