Looking to get a new camera!

So im looking to get a new DSR camera but wondering what would be best. Im using a canon rebel right now. Want something a little more... let me know what yall are running!

Whats your budget like? thats kinda the first question. Im assuming you want to stay with canon since it would be pretty familiar for you? and also depends on how experienced of a photographer you are as well.

I'm running canon 60d.

Buy the newest/best-sepc used model you can afford at a camera shop or on kijiji.

Lots of people trade them in after a year or so for upgrades or other hobbies.

I've got an Olympus EPM1 and I love it. but I think it's on par with your Rebel. My dream camera is the Olympus OMD EM1 but it's out of my price range so my next camera will be the EM5.

Do you plan on shooting in automatic modes? Or are you comfortable with manual exposure and all that?

I run an older Nikon D60. I have the 18-55 kit lens and a 35mm f1.8 lens. I'm pretty ready for something new too, but really, this thing had done well. The 35mm lens pretty much made it a new camera.

I don't think I would get in to anything too high end if you are not in to using the manual modes that often, but that's just my opinion...

is this what youve been using to shoot your car with?

I have done some pictures of the car with it but I use my cellphone when doing a DIY.

These are some shots I've done with the EPM1 with the kit lens, keep in mind I'm an amateur.

Do not buy a go pro for photos. They're kinda handy if you wanna do time lapse photos, but other than that, you are probably better off grabbing a half decent point and shoot camera
