  • Recommend me a shop- car starter

A co-worker is looking to get a car-starter installed in his car. Can anybody recommend a shop?

    EDIT:

Recommend me a shop that can install a quality remote car starter

I don't let anyone but TuneDub touch my car for something that's over my head.

      ^^So any mechanical work?
      Jks.
      Kinda.

OP on a serious note i would NOT recommend Autotemp air and sound. My family has used them in the past a few times when my uncle was a distributor to them and i wouldn't touch them again even with a heavy discount. Last time we used them it was amateur hour removing panels and electrical taping connections etc.

Mobile Solutions does some crazy work indeed! My buddy Doug sent a 458 Italia there for a custom sound system.. they made sure to source Geniune Ferrari leather and thread for all the upholstery. That being said however, for the cost at their rates i think its a bit overkill for a remote starter... id reccomend Tunedub.

Re: Recommend me a shop- car starter

An old buddy of mine is an installer at Mobile Solutions. Although I have never personally seen their work up close, I've heard numerous great things about their quality and installs. He also showed me countless pics of custom installs that seriously blew my mind. There is a price tag attached to this quality work as well, but you gotta pay to play.

In all honesty, i've gone to places like visions, futureshop and other big name stores and would never go back. Take it to an independant place with a good reputation. Only places that will ever touch the electrical side of my cars will be either Mobile Solutions, or Vibe Car Audio in Red Deer. Again, a great place with a good reputation, as many eurodrivers from red deer can attest to the quality of work that comes out of Vibe in red deer.

I can vouch for Mobile Solutions. They do really high end cars and high end work. There hasn't been a time I've visited their shop that they've had less than two super cars in the back getting work done. Not including their shop ferrari. Plus they have a fridge of Red Bull so that counts for something too
