Ugg. This seems like depressing math. I might dig up some numbers and play along shortly... parts and maintenance are not so bad for me as the 2 months of in and out of the dealer with my car was all warranty. Think that would have been about 12,000$ for one issue had it been out of my pocket. Hah.

Paid 3800 for the car
Put about 4k in it since I've owned it but all maintance is good. Tbelt ect,
7800 in to it, had it since may of 2013 so about a year and a half. I get 90$ of gas per week,

4k maintenance/mods
3800 to buy
Approx 5k in fuel


$12.800

48k ish km driven so far in a year and a half, bought at 199.4km and it's at 246.8 today.

About $3.75 per KM I guess.
