So, spring and cleared roads means my little RC car comes back out again, and I'm just curious if anyone else plays with these oversized toys? I have a Nitro powered HPI RS4, shaft drive.....I'll probably bring it out sometime to play with when it gets warmer at the meets....Post up your own childish hobby here!

Re: RC cars? Anyone else into?
LOL I have many R/C cars. Most of them are old taymia cars but I do have a nitro RS4 2 that I have run about 2 times in the last 3 years lol I really need to sell it on ebay me thinks
If I do buy another tyo it would be more of a bash vehicle like a nitro monster truck.

Re: RC cars? Anyone else into?
I got an HPI RS4. I used to get together with friends once in a blue moon and find an empty parking lot (usually late at night) to open them up
We had a Traxxis touring car that we tweaked to get to approx 60mph (the car is supposedly capable of hitting +72mph) but the limited length of the parking lot was an issue. It was pretty sweet, the police even showed up to watch. We made a few high speed passes with it until I hit a parking block and shattered it to oblivion

Re: RC cars? Anyone else into?
Hehe, I love open parking lots, mine torque steers so bad its hard to get up to full speed on a road...its all over the place! I would love a Traxxas T-Max aswell, those are pretty cool! Fuel at $35 bux a gallon though, glad they're efficient!2006 Colorado Xtreme | AEM CAI | Walker exhaust | smoked glass | -1" dropped rear | Avic D3 | 8000K HID's

Yea, I like em but haven't had a good one since my Tamiya stadium King CabOriginally posted by StonewallLOL I have many R/C cars. Most of them are old taymia cars but I do have a nitro RS4 2 that I have run about 2 times in the last 3 years lol I really need to sell it on ebay me thinks

I actually found a lot of enjoyment out of Tin Racers, they were cheap and the mods for them were endless but the lack of proportional controls made it a bit difficult to control!!!
If you're thinking about selling your RS4, let me know how much you want for it, there is a couple people at work that might not be able to pass up the chance to get their hands on one (who knows I might even be interested.Jay

Re: RC cars? Anyone else into?
Well I got lots of parts for it and just bought some new aluminum control arms, side belt tensioner and a 2 speed tranny as well as about 10 sets of tires, balancer and tire gluer. I have only used all those parts for about a 10 mins run so I would like to atleast get some $$ back for those parts. THe engine have only about 1/2 a gallon through it and the body is painted but no decals on it yet. Not sure what I want for it but I was thinking of selling it on ebay for about 200$ US with the radio so I am open to offers.Originally posted by TunaIf you're thinking about selling your RS4, let me know how much you want for it, there is a couple people at work that might not be able to pass up the chance to get their hands on one (who knows I might even be interested.Name: Brent

Re: RC cars? Anyone else into?
That's a pretty decent price actually, I told my friend at work about it. If he decides he want's it, I'll get him in touch with you.Originally posted by StonewallWell I got lots of parts for it and just bought some new aluminum control arms, side belt tensioner and a 2 speed tranny as well as about 10 sets of tires, balancer and tire gluer. Re: RC cars? Anyone else into?
I like to think so, since I payed over $200 US plus I have about $200 in parts and will sell it with a radio and servos. If it is sold in town I will throw inthe rest of the gas I have too (over 1/2 bottle since I have only run 1/2 a bottle through it) It may not be the newest shaft drive model but I do have an extra rear belt etc and I figure that belt drive is the way to go. I am posting a big crapload of stuff on ebay soon so I will be doing some research into the price that they sell for there.Originally posted by TunaThat's a pretty decent price actually, I told my friend at work about it.
